mindfulness-based stress reduction (mbsr) is a scientifically proven program designed to manage stress and used in the treatment of various conditions. it is structured into an 8-week group course.

 

mbsr was created in the late 1970’s by american scientist, doctor of biological sciences and professor of medicine, Jon Kabat-Zinn at the university of massachusetts (usa).

 

today, the program is recognised internationally and is actively used by the uk health care system (nhs).
